Our Campaign Principles: Back to Basics

  • Government for the Many, Not the Few – Government should serve families — not corporations, not special interests, not political insiders. People first, always.
  • Elected Officials Work for You – I work for the people — not PACs, not parties, not power. Government must be accountable to those it serves.
  • Balance of Power Matters – The branches of government must be separate but equal, as the Constitution intended — accountable, ethical, and just.
  • A Democracy That Hears Every Voice – American democracy only works when every voice is invited to the table, listened to, and empowered — especially the young, the overlooked, and the underrepresented.
  • We All Do Better When We All Do Better – Our success is shared. We rise by lifting others — not by competing over scarcity, but by building abundance together.
  • A Just Economy Means a Level Playing Field – Everyone deserves a stable job, a living wage, union protection, and a fair shot at economic opportunity.
  • Healthcare, Housing, and Education Are Rights – No one should be priced out of care, shelter, or opportunity. We must invest in people’s dignity from cradle to college and beyond.
    • Housing – Ensure access to healthy, attainable housing in vibrant neighborhoods.
    • Healthcare – Every person should have access to affordable, high-quality healthcare — no exceptions, no excuses.
    • Education – Invest in public schools, modernize classrooms, cancel student debt, and create pathways to college, trade, and workforce success.
  • Safe Classrooms, Safe Communities – Our students deserve to feel and be safe in every school and classroom. End gun violence with common-sense reform, community programs, and trauma-informed care — because safety is a right, too
  • Youth Are Not Just the Future. They Are the Present! – Young people must be active, informed, and empowered to shape the solutions of today — not just tomorrow.
  • Immigration with Humanity and Honor – Build a fair, efficient system that respects human dignity, protects families, and supports our economy.
  • Government That Listens – Public service means listening, showing up, and staying accountable. I will never stop listening to you.
  • Peace Must Be Our First Option – Invest in people, not endless wars. Use diplomacy, not force, and put taxpayer dollars to work here at home.
  • Rooted in Experience, Built on Hope – As an immigrant, engineer, and activist, I know what it means to struggle and to rise. I’ll fight for the future you deserve.
  • Power Belongs with the People – We will win through small donations and big dreams, not Big Money. Every vote counts, and every voice matters.

This Campaign Is About Us – “Back to Basics” means public service with humility, solutions rooted in common sense, and leadership that always listens.
